Spring Concert 2019
This concert features choral and keyboard music from the late 16th to the early 20th century.
We open with two choral pieces followed by his keyboard work My Lady Neville’s Ground; the beautiful Mass for 4 voices completes the segment.
Moving on to the 19th century we then perform Geistliches Lied and two of his motets.
The concert is completed by three Russian choral works ,
Rachmaninov’s Ave Maria
Tchaikovsky’s Hymn to the Virgin
Arensky’s Lord’s Prayer
Followed by an exciting piano arrangement of the of
Rachmaninov’s Symphony No.2, 3rd movement.
