This lovely, warm and relaxed concert included a chance to stretch the vocal chords of the audience as well as the choir, with a variety of 'Christmassy' music new and old to enjoy.
Vaughan Williams, David Willcocks and John Rutter rubbed shoulders with our old friends Anon. and Traditional, and we are sure you enjoyed 2 new carols by Mr Will Todd, a Surrey man who is beginning to make real waves on the choral 'circuit'. The concert was followed by a tasty buffet, chance to catch up with old and new friends, buy raffle tickets - and especially support our charity partner the Diamond Centre for Disabled Riders; we welcomed their chairman who brought information and spoke eloquently about the centre.
NEWSFLASH! we are delighted to hear that the Diamond Centre raised almost £200 with sales of their cards and donations! An excellent evening!

The choir is open for new members from next term, Monday 9 January - please come along to rehearsals ( Coulsdon Methodist church hall). We will be rehearsing Gilbert and Sullivan choruses (we have selected some well-known and some rarer ones), a lovely piece by Telemann, and some Bruckner Motets. Please do come and try out - or email for more details.
