Spring Concert 2017

Despite a few gaps in the choir through illness etc, we came up trumps and sang a really high quality, brilliant Spring concert!

2 bubbly little Telemann pieces, Laudate Jehovam Omnes Gentes and Jauchzet ihr Himmel, then Bruckner's Ave Maria, Locus Iste, Christus Factus Est and Os Justi all went down well, and we enjoyed singing and introducing the fun and high quality choruses and overtures from Gilbert and Sullivan.

We were delighted to introduce a new and extremely good conductor for the Bruckner pieces - Jemma Riches from Caterham school, Head of Woodwind. (We have no plans to lose our Robert Randall however!)
We also enjoyed hearing the excellent pianist Caroline Jaya-Ratnam, who was superb, and it was great to enjoy her duet with Robert.
Some small clips of our performances can be found on youtube....
